I saw it in October at an 8 am screening. It still killed.

Poor Things

A raunchy, adult comedy about woman growing into a—woman.

Brilliant formally and comedically.

If the subtext becomes mildly too overt, the high wire performances from Emma Stone and Mark Ruffalo ease any quibble.

And Willem “Jesus” Dafoe.

The most I’ve laughed in a theater this year.
